ʻAha Pūkoʻa: Youth Ambassador Program Applications Now Available for Hawaiʻi residents

FESTPAC-Hawaiʻi 2020 is excited to announce it is now accepting applications for its inaugural “ʻAha Pūkoʻa: Youth Ambassador Program,” which focuses on leadership development of youth artists and cultural practitioners.  Hawaiʻi residents between the ages of 16 and 26 are eligible to apply.

The Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture (FESTPAC) will come to Hawaiʻi for the first time from June 10-21, 2020. Held every four years in a different Pacific Island Nation, FESTPAC is the world’s largest celebration of indigenous Pacific Islanders, attracting artists, cultural practitioners, scholars and officials from member nations of the Pacific Community (SPC).

If you are interested in becoming an ʻAha Pūkoʻa: Youth Ambassador, Hawaiʻi Delegation for FESTPAC-Hawaiʻi 2020, we invite you to complete and submit the application HERE by October 31st, 2019. 

Those selected will be notified by mid-November 2019.

*Must be a Hawaiʻi resident with valid form of identification, and between the ages of 16-26 years old.
