Message from USDA APHIS

Traveling to Hawaiʿi for FestPAC this June? Ensure any items you wish to bring are screened and legal to import to ensure the items are free of invasive insects and diseases. While many costumes or cultural items are made with plant material (such as leaves, flowers, seeds, and wood) or animal (feathers, bone, leather, etc.) products, those items may require screening, a permit, or additional paperwork for entry.  Learn more at https://www.aphis.usda.gov/aphis/resources/traveler/intl-travel and https://hdoa.hawaii.gov/pi/pq/travel-shipping-information/.
