Program Overview

Overview

The Oratorical Arts segment at the 13th Festival of Pacific Arts & Culture is a vibrant celebration of the rich and diverse oratory traditions that define the Pacific region. This section of the festival showcases the mastery of language, storytelling, and eloquence that have been integral to the cultural heritage of the Pacific islands. Participants from various Pacific nations come together to share their unique oratorical styles, fostering cultural exchange and appreciation.

Oratorical Arts Projects

  • Oratorical Performance

    The oratorical performances will be mainly shared in the Hawaiʻi Convention Center theatres – the ʻEmalani Theater (322 pax. capacity) and the Liliʻu Theater (459 pax. capacity). There will also be opportunity to share in the Festival Village sharing spaces.

  • Literature Program

    Many oratorical artists may also choose to be involved in the FestPAC Literature Program, coinciding with Storytelling and Strategic Program panel discussions.
